Every evening in May from 8 - 11 pm I will be participating in @holocenternyc’s Light Windows project (holocenter.org/light-windows/nyc-map), an open call to bring cheer through lighting up windows in our communities.
For it I set up a covid-19 edition of The Tuning House, called “The Tuning Window”, in one of our west-facing windows at the corner of West & Green, and I will be live streaming on May 16 for the International Day of Light:

“The Tuning Window” is a wall of light behind french doors facing the East River that changes colors based on the pitch and octave of the interior and exterior sounds around it (depending on if our other window is open, with a dedicated microphone it will pick up cars going by with the radio blasting, children singing on parents’ shoulders passing the window, loud thunderstorms, etc.)
